FAQ

A McKenzie Friend is someone who is permitted to attend court with an unrepresented litigant (a litigant in person or LIP) in order to provide moral and practical support, help them organise and find relevant documents when needed, and take notes. They are not a professional lawyer but are trained and skilled in the court process.

We provide an initial free consultation (30 minutes) and thereafter charge an hourly rate of between £60 per hour depending on the services required. Please see our ‘Pricing’ page for more information.
